In any type of construction project supervises a group of enlisted specialists, such as: Carpenter, General (SSN 050); Carpenter, Bridge (SSN 035); Electrician, General (SSN 078); Plumber (SSN 164); Basic Engineer (SSN 705); and Engineer Equipment Operator (SSN 359).
Usually functions under the general supervision of a Construction Chief (SSN 059). Must be able to read blueprints. Must have general familiarity with construction principles. Must be able to supervise a construction crew. Note—For planning, layout, and assigning work, and for supervision of several construction crews, use SSN 059.
